    i don’t know much about “dwarf cockatoo” cichlids but cichlids are usually aggressive.. everything else can go together though..

    the cichlids will end up killing ur other fish cichlids are aggressive fish

    i would only get one dwarf cockatoo cichlid. 3 gouramis. 5 platies (1male. 4females). and ur.pleco of coarse. i say one cichlid cuz the dwarfs are very aggressive towards each other. one should be ok with the other fish just make sure u provide plenty of hiding places.

    Yes they should be fine.

    The dwarf cockatoo cichlids are small and relatively shy fish, one of the more peacefull cichlids. Unlikly to attack your other fish.

    The Pleco may outgrow the tank (depends on what species you have), but it wont harm the other fish even it it does get to a foot long.

    You could probably keep a few more platies in that size tank.
